If you don’t already know Elzhi from Slum Village is coming out with a tribute to Nas’s Illmatic album called Elmatic. He gonna flip all the songs from Illmatic and make them his own, the free album will be available May 10th. It’s a pretty risky attempt to redo a classic such as Illmatic but Elzhi got the skillz to do justice to it. How do you think this song compares to the original? Holla!
