I went to the Rockstar Skyscraper Classic at Marcus Garvey Park in Harlem over the weekend and and was cycling dopeness for sho! The Skyscraper Classic was cool, the roadies dis laps around Marcus Garvey park and it was a really big turnout it could’ve been a bigger turnout spectator wise but it was still on point. They had different levels of road races throughout the day. The really cool thing is that my boy Danny was asked to bring the King Of New York experience to the event which is awesome because we need more cohesion between the different cycling disciplines. KONY Had a whole block to their selves with a vert ramp, box jumps, grind boxes and starting gate….yep a starting gate!!! Remo and Marvin were giving kids lessons on gate starts…..it was a really cool event 4sho!! It’s been a really busy year for Cycling in NYC and NY as a whole and I’m loving it.
