One of my favorite songs off Nas’s “Life Is Good” album is “Cherry Wine” which is a dope tune featuring the late Amy Winehouse! Nas is one of the only Major HipHop artist still putting out good HipHop music and I salute him for that! Below is a lil Wiki excerpt of what “Life Is Good” is about:
Writing the album after his impactful divorce from recording artist Kelis, Nas wanted to vent personal feelings and address moments in his life with his lyrics. He pursued 1980s hip hop influences for the album’s production to complement its nostalgic tone.
