Chicago HipHop group theWhoevers new single “Jurassic Park V” is pretty dope and different. The track features the Netherfriends who also crafted the beat. Musically I like where the beat goes, it stays in a HipHop zone but is able successfully branch out to other dimensions without loosing it’s rawness. That’s wassup! Peep the official description for the song below:
the 3rd installment of theWHOwednesdays series. We follow last month’s record, “Roll of the Dice” with a collabo by none other than traveling music nomad himself, Netherfriends.
Like our beloved Chicago seasons, “Jurassic Park V” captures the essence of a smooth summer breeze, while slapping you in the face like the winter wind. In the race for greatness, this team plans to “get to the top and keep on climbing” …
“Jurassic Park V” belongs to a Netherfriends compilation album titled “New CHI-t” with a proposed 06/28 release date that also features many of Chicago’s rising artists
