I caught up with BMX Elite Women Pro Amanda Geving during the mud race that went down on Day2 of the Stars N Stripes Nationals in Southpark PA. She talked about how she got disqualified for hitting the pro set during her race on Day#1 (Saturday). There was a UCI rule said elite women could not hit the pro set but that message wasn’t delivered clearly to the riders. Amanda was hitting the pro set real nice during practice and had everybody amp’d, it’s always dope to see the ladies boosting a huge set of doubles, It’s real wack that she got DQ’d. I mean if the amateur riders could choose to hit the pro set or not why can’t the elite women? Come on sun!
