I went down to the press day/ribbon cutting of the new Havemeyer Bike Park AKA Brooklyn Bike Park and took a few pictures, did a few interviews and of course I did some riding too. There were a few politicians and local media there to cover the event as well and they all were excited about this new development. I’ll be sitting down with BMXer/MTBer/The mastermind behind the bike park layout and construction Jim Dellavalle soon to talk about the park and some of his future plans for getting more trails in the NYC Tri- borough!
