There was a lot happening on day 2 of the 1st annual Urban Action Showcase! During the day there were a bunch of panels on action films and martial arts at the Hilton. The vendors were in full effect in the convention hall and there were a bunch of pop up live action combat scenes demonstrated right in the vending area. There was one actual beat down that happened but I missed it 🙁 lol! After that we all went to AMC Theater on 42nd street for the award ceremony. It was really cool that they celebrated and gave awards out to the Legends and Icons of Urban action films, indie action film makers and also indie comic book creators. After the award ceremony they had an afterparty at Sky Bar! I took a bunch of pictures from all the locations and you can check them out in the gallery below. ASC Productions created an amazing event and it’s only going to get bigger and better from here. I can’t wait till next year to see what they come up with next!
