2nd Annual Black Comic Book Festival, Networking Reception 1.17 (136 Photos)

The official start to the long comic book convention season began this past Friday at the 2nd Annual Comic Book Convention Networking Reception at the Schomburg Center in Harlem! It was a room full of talented independent writers, illustrators, inkers and publishers as well as up and coming young creators! A lot of our favorite publishers were in the building networking and sharing ideas and there was just a great vibe and energy in the air. There were also a lot of first timers and people that came through just to see what this event was all about. After the reception we all went into the auditorium for the great panel discussion on the current state of black comics, comic book creators and the obstacles that they have to overcome. It was a very positive, informative and inspirational event! Below is my photo gallery from Friday
