Illustrator BRAD SIMON Makes A Dope Custom Nutcase Helmet

PDX
Oregon Manifest just Introduced the first helmet in their City Helmet Series, a collaboration with the artists of ARTCRANK. Each helmet is a one-of-kind, hand-painted design created exclusively for The Bike Design Project. The helmet used for this first piece was supplied by our friends (And Sugar Cayne Bike Fest Sponsors) over at Nutcase Helmets!

THE ARTIST : BRAD SIMON PDX-based Brad Simon is a graphic designer, illustrator and typographer whose work has been published and exhibited in the U.S. and overseas. A senior designer at the Portland office of Wieden+Kennedy. He has been recognized by The One Show, The Type Directors Club, Communication Arts, and the Society of Publication Design, among others. THE INSPIRATION “My helmet design was inspired by vintage botanical plate illustrations and the outdoor adventures that take place here in Portland. Combining this inspiration with my character-based illustrations, I looked to design a helmet that contrasted the dark, cloudy days with the bright, colorful people.” :: Thanks to Nutcase Helmets for supplying the canvas. ~ ~ ~ OregonManifest.com
