UK-based HipHop and electronic producer Vanilla dropped a sick boom bap, sample heavy instrumental album called “Sweet Talk” that all ya’ll real heads should listen too. Vanilla made 27 tracks of repeatable HipHop dopeness, he’s got a lot of gems on this joint but one I just can’t seem to stop playing is “Move” (Track#6). It’s just a simple, silky smooth boom bap masterpiece! I love how he flipped the vocal sample in the beat, it’s very rare that you hear producers sample humming vocals in a beat, that’s wassup! THIS IS HIPHOP!!
‘Sweet Talk’ is the third and final instalment of my soul-inspired beat tape series, which started with 2011’s ‘High Life’ (vanillabeats.bandcamp.com/album/high-life) and followed with ‘Soft Focus’ (vanillabeats.bandcamp.com/album/soft-focus) in 2012. It features 27 soul-sampling instrumentals produced over the past two years.
