Nike Skateboarding has linked back up with Minneapolis’ Familia Skate Shop to create the “Familia”. The high top model is inspired by tall tale lumberjack character Paul Bunyan and Babe his blue ox. A blue body has an embossed, synthetic leather upper with suede blue paneling that of course represents Paul’s horse Babe. Nike SB and Familia also created a colored, custom embroidered emblem, featuring an ox head and two crossing axes on the heel of the kicks.The Nike swoosh is done to look like the yellow ox horn which is a cool added touch. Paul is represented by the black and red flannel inner lining and a graphic foot insert. These banging kicks will be dropping this Saturday, July 4 at 10 AM on Nike’s webstore, Be ready!!!
