BMX Elite Woman Felicia Stancil is the first American athlete to win a gold Medal at the 2015 Pan Am Games for Team USA today…..That’s Huge!!! Felicia has only been racing pro for a year and she’s killing it. Check out the full recap from today’s race on TeamUSA.org
Now check this out, last weekend she pulled 1st place at the USA BMX Stars N Stripes Nationals and now a week later she wins gold at the Pan Am Games, she’s no joke on the track 4sho!
Also big shout out to Nic Long for getting that bronze medal for the US in the Men’s BMX class, this is definitely a good look for BMX racing!!
Today was the 2nd Day of the Pan American Games and the BMX competitions were all going down. We were checking the schedule and waiting to see if and when they would air it. Â After a full day of watching diving, synchronized swimming, judo, soccer and gymnastics, BMX it only got a recap segment at the end of the broadcast on ESPN.
Well the joke was on ESPN for not airing full coverage of the BMX races, it was one of the events to sellout tickets early on. Hopefully they give BMX racing more love in the future. CLICK HERE to check out the recap video below.
