A highlight of the San Diego Comic-Con was the big Star Wars: The Force Awakens panel where over six thousand fans in Hall H were the first to witness not only history in the making but an awesome new behind the scenes trailer. The huge panel included director J.J. Abrams, producer and Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy and writer Lawrence Kasdan. The filmmakers were also joined on stage by cast members Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford, how awesome is that!!!
What was really exciting for me about the video besides seeing so many of the original cast members being featured was the fact that their gonna be using a lot of the old special effects styles they used in the original films like the full scale sets and vehicles. I really like that everything will not just be CGI effects, that’s important, especially for a Stars Wars film.
I love how this trailer was put together. Can’t wait for the movie to come out!
Oh and how cool is it that the original “Chewy” actor Peter Mayhew is reprising his roll too!! Awesome!!
