As quiet as it’s kept, Legendary bicycle manufacturer Mongoose has actually been making good quality bikes recently. We all know the brand is a Walmart and Toys R Us favorite which “real” bike riders especially MTB and BMXer frown upon….but for a good reason…those bike are not made for “real riding”!!
But on the flip side Mongoose has been making above average quality MTB, Fat and BMX bikes, it’s just a lot folks don’t know about it. They’ve even been sponsoring and producing some legit BMX competitions and jams. They also have a really solid BMX freestyle team which leads us to talking about this new signature BMX frame by Mongoose team rider Kevin Peraza called the La Familia.
We know you probably thinking this is probably some foreign built junk but it’s actually hand-built in the USA!!! yep, pretty dope!! Now we would love to see Mongoose step back in the BMX Racing game or even the “Retro” BMX game…We would grab an updated version of the original Solution in a heart beat!!
Peep the rest of the stats on the La Familia after the photos.
