Team Everythang member, Friend to SugarCayne.com and Spittin In Da Wip alumni Napoleon Da Legend dropped some new heat with his latest video/single Sacrifice. The video was shot by French director Stéphane Davi. He laced the video with his trademark style with some nice blends and after effects to accompany Napoleon’s fire bars.
IF you recognize the beat it’s because it’s a classic by the lat J-Dilla Dilla called “Last Donut of the Night,” off his “Donuts” album.
“Sacrifice” is featured on NDL’s new mixtape “Steal This Mixtape which features a bunch of banging instrumentals that Napo self-admittedly “stole” from some of his favorite artists. Beat by legendary craftsman like Quantic, Madlib, RZA, Onra, Buckwild, Dilla and many more. The Mixtape also features speeches by Martin Luther King, Marcus Garvey and others.
19 tracks of HipHop dopeness by one of our favorite emcee’s and we’re not just sayin that because he’s down with us, Napoleon Da Legend is the truth, real HipHop all day!
