We keep seeing more and more major corporate support for BMX Racing. This time we found BMX Racing segment on the Gillette World Sport TV Show. The segment features 2015 BMX World Champion and 2016 Men’s BMX Olympian Niek Kimmann, as he discusses the importance of getting a good gate start and training his regimes.
The Dutch National team rider not only talked about the importance of a good gate start he also gives some tips on HOW to get a good gate start. Niek and Dutch National team coach Bas De bever also talk about the training that goes into getting better at starts and overall performance . It’s a really good video with some great training insight. It definitely raises the profile and respect for the sport.
We need more content like this put out about BMX racing….and not just during Olympic time 🙂 Big shout to Gillette for making this happen!
