Shane Cusick Talks About Pello Bikes

Shane Cusick owner of Pello Bikes had a booth set up at Bike Expo New York earlier this year. Pello Bikes is new brand that makes high quality, lightweight kid specific bikes. Crazy Al Cayne kicked it with Shane to find out more about the Richmond Virginia based brand.

The light aluminum bikes feature Kenda tires, Tektro brakes, Cane Creek headsets, lightweight aluminum frame, lower bottom bracket, a low-rise handlebars and longer wheelbase than the average 14″ bike, Tektro rear mini V-pull brakes and more

“We believe that kids bikes should be designed to fit kids. That means having geometry designed for kids. Geometry is all the measurements of the parts of the bike. How long the tubes are, how far apart they are and what angle they are at. This is important as it designates how kids bodies fit with the bike, and what position they are in body when they ride.” ~Pello Bikes
