Today’s Bike OF The Day is sent to us by Marty Eden out of Springfield, Illinois! Its a totally custom frame, fork, bars and seat design and he calls it the Zagmaster!! Marty’s fabrication skills are insane with this zig “ZAG” , lighting bolt frame design, Double Top Tube (“Master” 😉 ), dual tube seat stays and super long non adjustable seat post. The custom seat is all tubing, no cushion, The bars are wild and the forks have for legs on them!!
Marty chose a hot pink/white colorway on pretty much the whole bike except for the stem(White), cranks(White), hubs (White) and pedals(Black). To stay with the Zig Zag theme of the bike he made a zig zag pattern on the white lines on the paint job. Also in keeping with the vintage bike flavor that the Zagmaster displays, Marty used an Old School screw on head tube/headset on this wip….Nice!! This thing is a work of art!
“It’s mostly electrical conduit , steer tube, BB, and headtube came from donor bikes , yes that’s some work getting just those three pieces to work with , this bike started life with a little girls Schwinn Starlet the neighbor gave me , these wheels are right off that bike just repainted” ~ Marty Eden
