Portsmouth, New Hampshire DJ D. Begun took on the amazing tack of putting some of Nas’s acapella’s to the classic Madlib beats off the Quasimoto album “The Unseen”! The album is called Nasimoto and it’s 21 tracks deep of classic Nas verses over those classic Madlib beats. One of our favorite mash ups is “Purple”(Nas)/”Dicipline 99 Pt1″(Quasimoto) joint. “Purple” is actually one of our favorite songs off Nas’s “The Lost Tapes” album but this blend is definitely a dope rendition.
The album art for Nasimoto is dope too! The artist did an illustration inspired by Nas’s Stillmatic album cover. This is HipHop Dopeness!!
