Nike is set to release an amazing pair of Air Force 1’s in honor of Black History Month. These new sneakers are part of Nike’s “BHM” collection. The design of this pair is inspired from the Pan-African flag‘s red, black and green colorway.
The upper on the kicks is mostly done in tumbled black leather. The green stripe runs from the front right of mid sole, then follows the eyestays all the way up and then continues down the heel to the mid sole. The red stripe mirrors the same path as the green but on along the inner eyestay side. The sole of the kicks are done in white and highlights of metallic gold is on the tongue branding and heel side on the “BHM” emblem.
“Equality” is found printed in white in the inner sole and in gold on the ankle strap to complete the sneaker.
You’ll be able to get your feet in the Air Force 1 BHM’s for $130 USD when they drop on February 1st at select Nike retailers!
