Simon Booth and Lynda Davis of KiddiMoto gave me tour of their booth at Toy Fair 2018! Kiddimoto is known for making motorcycle inspired wooden balance bikes. They’ve since expanded to making helmets, back packs, steel bikes and even carbon balance bikes.
Lynda who is the president of Kiddimoto USA starts off the tour by showing me the aluminum, twin top tube balance bike. The frame design gave the bike an instant vintage BMX vibe, reminiscent to the classic BMX freestyle frames from back in the day. It come as a mountain bike version and a BMX version with the only difference is the handlebar styles.
Next we check out the Super Jr. which has more of a traditional balance bike look to it. Then we moved on to the helmet section which come in a variety of designs.
Next up Simon, who is the founder/owner of Kiddimotto showed me the “Kurve” wooden balance bike then he went on to show me the wooden Evil Kenevil inspired balance bike built on the brand’s superbike design.
Then Simon showed me the Kiddimoto’s latest balance bike called the “Karbon”!! The high end balance bike features a carbon fiber frame, fork, stem, stem spacers, handlebars and seat post. The bike just looks amazing and we love how they put the branding on the wide top tube.
“The Karbon is crafted purely from carbon fibre with the exception of the pneumatic tyres and super lightweight bespoke gel saddle, which adds that little extra touch of luxury. The bike has met with widespread acclaim at international trade shows, with orders flooding in from high-end department stores across Europe and a well-known international footballer…” ~Kiddimoto
