The Cornel West Theory drops a conscious spin on a HipHop classic with their latest single “sour C.R.E.A.M.”. The Washington DC. based HipHop collective took the Wu-Tang Clan classic “C.R.E.A.M. -Cash Rules Everything Around Me” and flipped it to “Cash Ruined Everything Around Me”. They event chopped up the original sample “AS LONG AS I’VE GOT YOU” from the THE CHARMELS and made it into their own. This is HipHop!
