Adidas Originals doing their “City Series” again with the release of the London. The legendary brand brought back the kicks in its OG colorway of “Scarlet/Black/Gold,” which are inspired by colors worn by the Queen’s Guard.
The slimline style of the kicks are taken from adidas Originals’ archive. It’s a nice tribute to its heritage with features like gold foil branding, zig-zag cut Three Stripes and eyestays, as well as its gum rubber sole.
The “Scarlet Red” suede upper is highlighted with black leather detailing on its Three Stripes, eyelets and heel. More Adidas branding was added to the insole with a contrasting white/ blue colorway. Also on the inside of the kicks is a gold-stamped lettering saying “CITY SERIES MMXIX” which marks its 2019 re-release.
