The folks at Schwinn resurrected another one of their vintage BMX bikes, The SX1000! The retro 24″ BMX cruiser pays homage to the original 20″ SX-1000 from the 70’s. The bike is done up with all types vintage BMX treats like rattrap pedals, gum wall tires, a quill stem and threaded 1″ forks. It even has and American bottom bracket and one piece forks.
The frame is looks like an exact replica of the original 20″ sx1000 but with way better geometry plus It’s can actually fit an adult 😉 . It’s comes in black or white.
This SX1000 24″ is Limited Edition, available only through City Grounds and as of this article, there are still some available. The price was reduced from $469 to $225.45. That price makes me want to get one just to get one 😉
