Unbox Industries just released the Osiris art toy. It’s their first in an ongoing series of character projects with Japanese illustrator, animator and character designer Freddy Carrasco.
The Osiris figure stands at 8″ and made of hand cast resin. It’s hand painted by Freddy and it’s sculpted by Sy Blake. The box that Osiris comes in is also painted. We love the vibrant colors on the piece. The baggy pants, headphones and sneakers give the sculpture that HipHop vibe. Only 50 of these Osiris pieces will be available on Unbox Industries
About Freddy Carrasco:
Freddy ‘s work is the result of a wide range of influences drawn from his upbringing in Toronto through to his heritage of small town farmers in the Dominican Republic. After living most of his life in Toronto, Freddy has recently gone back to his roots and now works part-time on a farm in rural Japan raising cabbage & cucumber.
