Another nice Gunslinger ridden by Bill Light is today’s Bike Of The Day! This time it’s a 20″ 20.75 Caliber and it’s setup clean! I think it’s safe to say Bill is a big fan of those Gunslinger frames 🙂 Be sure to give this bike a rating via the sliders below!
This is a Candy Purple 20.75 Caliber Custom built frame. It is a One Off build due to the diameter of the tubing being the same as what is found on the 21.25 or larger frames. I am Short but heavy, so I wanted the stouter tubing to prevent the frame from fatiguing, and allow for greater stiffness.
Like all Gunslinger Frames this one has the adjustable drop outs, and I have used them in many different circumstances. As an example, at Rock Island Indoor BMX(an Old School style Wood Jump and Concrete Surface), a lot of people were having clearance issues with one particular jump, often hanging up their chain ring on the back side. I was able to move my Drop Outs to change my ground clearance and also quicken my steering(came home with a second that race having been beaten by a Legend in the sport-Mike Savage). This bike is now retired after 4.5 years of HARD racing and Training.
