Another 2020 Mongoose Title Elite XL has made Bike Of The Day today! This bike was sent in by Jeremy Innerb and he set his bike up nice!! Remember to give this bike a rating via the sliders below.
A little bit about the bike and why I built it. Since I was a kid mongoose has been a pretty big name in Bmx racing etc. I stepped out of racing for 20 plus years until last June when I quit smoking. I told my wife I had to focus on something so Bmx it was. My older boys were racing already and we’re having decent success so I figured why not. Ofcourse the first thing I did was looked up the hot bikes that were out when I was a kid. I didn’t see alot of the household names that were huge when I was riding. I picked up a entry level redline and started to build it from there as the season went on. However me being me I couldn’t settle for cheap parts. So when the season was coming to an end a local team had the new mongoose title elites ( white) I fell in love with it. Not because it was a fair price build but because mongoose was getting back in to racing. Being an ex mechanic if it isn’t broke don’t fix it. Unlike most manufacturers you couldn’t buy the frame you had to buy the complete. I was not ok with that. So when 2020 season came about I seen mongoose was now selling their frame online. So I ordered my title elite xl. To my surprise it had alot of awesome features like the oversized head tube for tapered forks etc. Awesome price for the frame really. The colorway is sweet and frame was fairly light. Unfortunately I have not been able to race yet due to the Coronavirus however with tracks opening up it shouldn’t be long. When the season is over I will send it out to be custom painted for a throwback scheme. I don’t know what yet. There is a build out there that is a 2019 build up and has inspired me to do something retro as well.
