We have a special BMX treat for today’s Bike Of The Day! This is the first of its kind Pirate Bike Company 20″! Pirate Bike Company was started back in 2005 by Judd Freeman AKA “Pirate Judd” and Shawn Bader. Judd also designed the frame. The brand was around until 2007. We love showing support to the indie, small and new brands in the game, even if they’re not still around. And Bike Of The Day is great way to let folks know about them. Be sure to give this bike a rating via the sliders below!
It’s the first frame I designed, was built by Mike Devitt, and Gary Turner, right as Alliiant Bikes was closing shop. It’s a chromoly frame, built for racing and trails, has butted top & down tubes, 74 head tube angle, 71 seat tube angle, 21.25 top tube, 14.25 to 15.25 chain stay length.
