Today’s Bike Of The Day is another gem from Jason Orlandini’s collection, a 1986 GT Pro Performer! This classic bike looks so clean and vibrant with that day glow/white colorway! Be sure to give this bike a rating via the sliders below.
Inspiration was the GT Art of the 80’s which screamed its own personality. To me the color way of the GT Day Glo was like nothing of its time. The way the color matched up against the GT bolt on parts allowed you to essentially create something you seen in the magazine ridden by Martin & Eddie.
I wanted a Day Glo GT as a kid because I fell in love with the beauty and how it came to life in the sun. Un fortunately they were rare and our finances wouldn’t allow that to happen so building this now was a dream come true.
