I’m diggin these Nike SB‘s Dunk High “Doraemon” kicks!! These sneakers are inspired directly from the beloved earless, robotic, time-traveling cat. This Manga classic inspired collaboration is one of the Nike skate subdivision’s most anticipated in-line releases of 2020 — serving as exemplary fan service to a tremendously influential anime and manga.
Since Doraemon has long been portrayed in white, blue and red, it’s only right that Nike utilize those colors on the SB Dunk. The toeboxes, quarters and collars are are made of white tumbled leather. Blues suede is used on the overlays, collar flaps and eyestays. The swooshes, collar trim and laces are done in bright red, and the white mesh tongue features golden lace keepers and tags which are a nod to the signature bell on Doraemon’s collar. Blue is a color of choice for the outsoles and white is used for the midsoles.
