Star Wars and adidas Originals have unveiled a new Top Ten Hi that pays homage to the egendary gold-plated humanoid protocol droid, C-3PO. 😉
Now if your gonna pay homage to C-3PO, gold has got to be the color of choice so Adidas went with a “Metallic Gold/Cloud White” colorway on the classic basketball kicks. The metallic gold is put on synthetic leather and it features a large C-3PO tag on the tongue. C-3PO’s head is embossed in black into the heel of the kicks and just above it is a slogan that wraps around the collar which says “But sir, nobody worries about upsetting a droid.”
Other features on the kicks are the “STAR” and “WARS” lace locks, a gold-gum outsole, gold-toned eyelets and a branded insole.
The Star Wars x adidas Originals Top Ten Hi “C-3PO” is dropping on adidas’ website on September 17 for $110 USD. May the force be with you 🙂
