Today’s Bike Of The Day is a colorful Daylight Timeline Colorado JPX Dirt Jumper ridden by Levi Huvard! There is so much to look at on this bike, such an interesting and cool colorway. We call the Timeline a JPX bike for jump, pump, 4-cross/dual salmon as it can do it all, set up as either a single speed or multi speed (1×10 usually). Lots of custom ceramic coating on this build. It’s bright but that’s the Colorado flag—blue sky, yellow sun (Daylight), and red earth. We then added a little hand-applied black distressing to soften the effect.

We had an issue with the matching front wheel so threw the black Tor wheel of to take this build to the Colorado national. We’ll probably put the matching Timeline wheel on it eventually, but sort of dig the look of the split wheel set. As I grew up in part in Crested Butte, Colorado — one of the acknowledge birthplaces of the mountain bike back in the lat 70’s — I built this for our son, Levi, who’s really embraced trail and MTB riding during the age of COVID when traveling to the BMX races has been limited.
