Today’s Bike Of The Day is a chrome plated 1991 L&S Creation 20XL BMX Race bike sent in by Isreal Zuniga! Yeah that’s right this is a legendary BOSSMAN AKA BOSS frame! BOSS is one of those holy grail race bikes from back in the day. This one has a yellow “Creation” decal on the downtube and forks. Fun Fact: The BOSSMAN himself Carlo Lucia is still manufacturing BOSS frames in La Pine Oregon. So you can still get your hands on an authentic BOSS frame!! I am 40 years old and in 1992 my cousin had this bike and he raced BMX. As a kid, I could never afford this bike. In 2010 I started researching and thought about building one but at that time I still did not have the means to do it. This year, the same cousin that raced the bike when we were younger contacted me and told me that someone he knew had the original frame and forks for sale. I knew I had to buy and build it. I’m old school and love chrome and gold, but I also wanted some modern components on the bike. I had an awesome time building this bike. It is the first complete bike I have ever built. I love this bike and it still amazes me that I am able to have it. I enjoy sharing it with people especially because you don’t see many chrome bikes anymore.
