I’ve been a fan of designer toy maker Quiccs Maiquez for some time now. So I was super hyped when I found out he’s partnered up with his favorite sneaker brand Adidias! One of their latest collaborations is this dope homage to Run-DMC that features a RUN-DMC inspired collection and a custom figure called “RUNDMC NANOTEQ”. It’s launching today!!
Adidas is launching a limited footwear and apparel capsule to pay homage to one of Hip Hop’s Greatest: Run-DMC! With their attitude and style, these three iconic figures hailing from Hollis, Queens, NY, have forever shaped the hip-hop, fashion, and sneaker culture and have served as the inspiration to my Three Stripes journey; the reason why my TEQ63 wears Superstars since Day 1!
This final chapter to our adidas Superstar 50th Anniversary story will feature the extra special “RUNDMC NANOTEQ.” This aims to encapsulate the legacy of Run DMC to what the culture is today and as pioneers to putting Superstars in the spotlight. This will be the fifth and final piece in the official adidas NanoTEQ Collection of 5!
