Earlier this month USA BMX Freestyle had their inaugural Amateur Nationals at Woodward PA and this video by Brant Moore shows us how awesome it was! So many sick highlights of the action going down at the event it was definitely fun to watch! From 9 year old’s tail whipping between quarter pipe gaps to 40 year old’s back flipping box jumps, this event was epic and inspiring!! I’ve long missed the day of the AFA(American Freestyle Association) from the 80’s and it’s great to see somthing like it make a return. BMX in 2021 is gonna be awesome!
The Amateur only event is broken down in to 5 classes; 10&Under Sport, 11-14 Sport, 15&Over Sport, Masters (which I believe is 40&Over) and Expert Open. And anyone can register to compete!! I can’t wait to see how this grows in 2021!!
What a weekend! The inaugural @usabmxfreestyle Amateur Nationals at Woodward PA was one for the books. Thank you to everyone who made it possible, and to all the riders who came out to compete—we couldn’t be more inspired.
