I went to Trumbull BMX track in CT with my dude Remo Dyson for their 4th of July Race and had a great time. This was my first time back on the track with my 20 inch in about a year. I felt better than expected and actually came home with a first.
It was great to see everybody again and I get to catch up with BMX Racing Over 40 regulars like Mike Duke, Pip and Harold! My dude Remo got to race his new Sugar Cayne 20in on the track. HE was looking good out there. I was hyped to see the founder of Mullaly Skatepark, Viktor Otiz on the track racing. I wish I filmed his main. It was a great battle and he wound up getting his first, 1st place.
Viktor was also gifted Trumbull’s old starting gate. He’s planning on getting a BMX track in the Bronx. Stay tuned for that!
Trumbull’s new starting gate is amazing! It’s definitely a big improvement and it gives the track a real professional look! Actually the parking lot got a make over so the whole facility looks on point.
I can’t wait to go back to Trumbull for the Road 2 Recovery Jam and the New England Nationals!
