Today’s Bike Of The Day is custom painted Prophecy Scud EVO 3 submitted by John Pullman. I’m loving that deep green paint job used on the frame. It really goes with the futuristic design style of the SCUD. Check out the details below.
Short story, long – I celebrated my 50th birthday recovering from a fractured metacarpal injury from the Stars & Stripes National. Not being able to ride led me down the rabbit hole of Prophecy BMX custom paint designs. You can choose virtually any custom color design on any of their carbon frames/forks. I wanted a cruiser to match the riding profile of my 20″ Prophecy. So, I finally (it took a long time to get the right combination) opted for a Prophecy SCUD EVO3 cruiser in Andromeda (green) and Gamma Leonis (gold accent stripe). The end result is a chameleon where the colorway changes from green/gold to bright green, blue, purple, black, or gold depending on the angle you view it (my lackluster photography skills will not do this bike justice). Looking forward to the 2023 race season and to my great teammates, fellow competitors, and the other racers out there, keep it on 2 wheels and have some fun!
