A sick vintage, 1986 GT Pro Freestyle Tour is today’s Bike Of The Day an it looks stunning! He recently brought his GT to a bike show and got some awesome photos taken of it by J.Pennucci Photography. This is the first vintage bike featured this year and I hope to see many more! Big shout out to Jason Orlandini for submitting this one!

The inspiration for me on this build specifically came from the iconic GT AD’s used in Freestylin Magazine in the mid 80’s (long before the internet). Also the still images of Eddie Fiola riding the iconic GT blue & white colorway as he did often in Uplands pipeline skatepark were mesmerizing. My Friends & I would huddle up and stare at magazine photos forever letting our imagination run wild. The Ed’s bike shop sticker I put on the bike was from our local shop in Vineland NJ where we would go daily to look around at bikes / parts we couldn’t afford and smell the fresh tires. I received that sticker from the shop before ED retired and closed up shop so it 30+ years old.
