LUX BMX dropped this Meybo HSX Carbon bike build video recently and it looks sick!
PRESS RELEASE:
Dutch BMX brand Meybo have only recently released the carbon fibre HSX frame, but already they have become a firm favourite in the BMX race community, with the #LUXLAB having built several complete, from the tyres up, bikes since their release.
Some of the features we love about these frames is the strong, but understated design, and the fixed dropout design with incorporated chain tension system means that gear changes take only a couple of minutes. Or changing out a flat. The frame (flat) mounted caliper set up means that there is no juggling of thru-bolts, spacers and axle mounted caliper mount.
The carbon theme continues with the wheelset with Aussie brand Michram being pulled in for the rims and our favourite hub company Onyx used for drive duties, and up front. Speaking of the cockpit, we’ve been waiting a millennian for BOX Components to produce their X5 forks in a matte black finish and they did so in time for the release of the HSX carbon frames, marrying up nicely with the Meybo’s head tube design and the frame’s UD finish.
Spend a few minutes watching Ev, with the help of his daughter, bolt together this Pro 21 Meybo HSX from start to finish and you’ll quickly see why LUX is Australia’s most trusted BMX shop.
