Throne Cycles presents La Goon 29″ BMX in Aztec Red. A 200 limited edition released on 16 of September to pay homage to Mexico’s Independence celebration, “El Grito”. Throne sparred no detail on this bike, from using the exact Pantone color codes of the Mexican flag; green, white, and red. Mimicking Mexico’s baseball national team’s logo, and adding Aztec artwork but all the while being authentic to our Chicano roots and culture. There are terms in ‘Spanglish’, a hybrid language of English and Spanish that many Chicanos and Mexican-Americans use while speaking to each other; “Run The Calles” and lastly our American embrace of car culture, where all bad ass whips are ladies, son damas! Viva Mexico! Viva Throne Cycles!
