Birkenstock Bendlow Sneakers Made To Shape Your Feet

Legendary German shoe company Birkenstock are known for their iconic, comfortable sandals. But they also have a sneaker that may actually be flat pedal friendly! Upper: Natural Leather

The natural leather that we use is mostly smooth leather, in some cases tumbled leather. This type of leather has many special characteristics, such as breathability, adaptation to the shape of the foot and durability.

Natural leather can be recognized by its untreated surface. BIRKENSTOCK purposely does not treat surface grains and other characteristic features. BIRKENSTOCK uses sturdy leather with a thickness of 2.8 to 3.2 millimeters as upper material.

Cork is a sustainable material extracted from the bark layer of the cork oak. This natural product is insulating and offers very good cushioning.

Outsole: Rubber

Because of its high elasticity rubber is very well suited for outsoles. Thanks to this property it supports the natural rolling motion of the foot. Rubber is also very robust and has good cushioning.

All those features are great and love that Birkenstock went into detail about features of the sneaker but the real question is, can they handle flat pedal BMX shredding! I may have to pick up a pair of Bendlow’s and do an on foot review of them to see.
