Back in December, Foster Bike Park(Formerly Mullaly’s) posted a photo of a CAD drawing of the park’s planned concrete upgrades! That’s right, NYC’s longest standing Bike Park will be all concrete and it will be designed with BMX in mind. An all concrete park that is designed for BMX is a first for New York. Mullaly’s has been around for 30+ years and it’s a legendary Bike Park known across the globe. This is a huge deal and major change to an iconic spot in BMX.
In the photo you can see endless lines and features that should help foster the progression of the NYC BMX scene. It even has a bowl! If it’s built right, it’s gonna be sick!!
Now some folks are gonna have issues with the change from wooden ramps to all concrete. Every season it was fun to find out what changes were made at the park. But according to Foster Bike Park, they’ll still be able to put up custom wooden features around the parimeter of the spot. That’s awesome!! I’m looking forward to the new changes and Huge shout out the Mullaly crew for making this happen!
Looking forward to the future of the park! Didn’t shoot any other photos, but we had a great time modifying this design with the crew of riders from the park, @nycparks @qrpartners and site design group.

The best part is we will still be able to add on and modify with wooden additions and build diy stuff around the perimeter area!!!!
Big thanks to everyone who came out to give their opinion and contribute to the next version of the place.
With that being said, ya’ll better come out to Mullaly’s this season and get some sessions in before it closes down for the upgrades. I’ll definitely be there a few times this year. I been slacking on my visits. See you there!
And lastly, Foster Park might be the new name of the park but it will always be MULLALY’S to me!! #NeverForget
