Legendary rapper and member of The Geto Boys, Scarface, is a big lover of BMX! He’s got a fresh one built back in 2022 by Mike’s Bikes. It was a custom Gary Turner “FaceMob” edition one off 26in BMX bike! It came out dope with that chrome finish and red and black parts with gum wall tires.
Then last month, Mike from Fatlip BMX(Formerly Mike’s Bikes) posted a video of him giving Face a new retro Diamondback 26in for his birthday.
Scarface was so excited about getting the Diamondback because of the centimental value. Back in the day when Face was a kid, he had a Diamondback so it meant a lot to him to be back on one cruising the streets. Mike laced that bike with some fresh parts and it’s looking sick! I love seeing kats getting back to their BMX roots especailly my HipHop heads! Big up to Scarface and Fat Lip BMX!
I’m gonna try to get Mike or Scarface to submit his bike to Bike Of The Day so I can get a full breakdown of the parts and inspiration for the build. Stay tuned!
