Neo, Retro, Futuristic band Gunship did a cover of “Send Me An Angel” by Real Life. The 80’s pop song was a cult classic in the BMX commuity when it was featured in the movie RAD! I love the orginal song but this one is really good. I like how this one sounds fuller and voices in the hook are better. This is definetely one to add to the BMX playlist. They really should’ve put Crew Jones’s Mongoose in there with heltrack in the background or somthing instead of E.T. and the Kuwahara. E.T. and RAD were two different moveies lol! Sombody needs to make a more accurate fan video of this .
Ironically, RAD the movie was remastered and just re released in Regal theaters across the nation. RAD DAY starts March 21st!
