It’s a little known fact that Kendrick Lamar appeared on my Spittin In Da Wip series back in early 2009, 15 years ago!! This was back when Kendrick was still going by K DOT. And 2 years before he released his classic Section 80 album. Since Kendrick’s episode was uploaded to Youtube, it was just getting a hand full of view a day.
But during the weeks of the recent beef/battle between Kendrick and Drake, the Youtube algorithm has been sharing it in people’s feed leading it to get the most one day views that the video has ever seen. And it’s still growing.
In this clip I talk about how the now classic Spittin In Da Wip episode featuring Kendrick came to be. And I also talk about the “2nd” Beat” that everyone has been loving. Also for those that have been wondering. Yes I’m bringing back Spittin In Da Wip, Stay tuned!!
