As we get ready for Iconic HipHop Legend LL Cool J’s first album in 11 years he drops this gem called Passion! I really dig this tune, the whole approach to this joint hits different. Not your typical formula type of beat and definitely a different angle musically for LL. “Passion” is the 2nd single to drop from the album, The FORCE (“Frequencies of Real Creative Energy”), and it really is some creative energy going on in this tune.
When you listen to this album, you’re not just hearing music, you’re experiencing a whole new vibe, a whole new level of artistic passion.

Another HipHop Legend, Q-Tip of A Tribe Called Quest crafted this sick beat which has a lot of things going on with it. I’m loving the blend of sounds and the Jam Session vibes it’s putting out. Even the way LL comes into the beat is like a studio jam session work out. This would make a dope Tiny Desk set.
