I love when people submit BMX bikes I’ve never heard of before and this 2023 Rumblefish CS Pro XL is one of them. The brand has actually been around since the early 90’s and was featured in BMX Plus magazine. This Rumblefish CS is a sick 4130 chromoly frame with updated classic features and details like modern day tubing and geometry. Big shout out and thanks to Richard Kerr for submitting this bike. He did an amazing job on the build.

I started Rumblefish back in the 90’s. I designed frame and forks and had them built. Bmx plus did a test and put it on the cover, calling the Rumblefish Barracuda “The most radical Bmx bike ever!”. I built pro 20” and 24” cruiser.I spent a lot of time at the shop watching them being built. So a couple years ago I got a jig and started building frames for me and my grandkids from what I remember back then.
This frame and fork is 1 of 1. The cool thing about building a frame and fork from scratch is getting to design something exactly like you want. I wanted a true old school frame and fork but with updates. I used modern tubing and geometry but old school style. I used a tapered reinforce 1” head tube and a tapered reinforced standard bottom bracket shell. The frame has a 1” seat tube for a 7/8 seatpost, a standard brake bridge for a side pull brake.

I got it powder coated trans blue. I had a lot of build ing this frame and fork. I love the Looptail design and the bike came out great. It rides really nice.
Thanks for looking
