A 2020 Zeronine Pro 24 mini cruiser is today’s Bike Of The Day! The bike is done in a black color with anodized red part accents. It’s another nice build that was submitted by Scott Melanson. “The inspiration for this one came around the style of the frame itself, and in compliment to my other build (which I just submitted). Whereas my son’s class bike was Blue with Red and White this one I made a Black and Red Accent, which garnered them the nicknmaes ‘Sonic’ and ‘Shadow’ as my son (whom these were built for) is hugely into the Sonic Movies.
I wanted to make the bike as factory racing looking as possible, including imagining what they would do for the forks and their graphics to accent things, really working to match the luster of the matte black to stay consistant with the wheels. Then, using the red as a building block, it helped to relate over to the other build while being independently stealthy.
Wheras the class bike was to scream out and say look at me, this one was meant to be subtle and under the radar. My son was 5 when getting these two bikes, and him being the only 5 year old in the 7 & Under Division for Cruiser in MN, I wanted it to be as if he was coming in steathily, in their shadow to surprise them.” ~Scott Melanson
