YOOOO!! This 2024, hi polished, engraved, Daylight Wavelength 2.0 BMX racing bike is stunning! First of all, it’s an aluminum frame with a polished finish that looks like show chrome. The black and gold parts look amazing and the engraving on the frame and forks just steal the show! I’ve never seen a BMX racing bike done up like this. Daylight does some incredible work with their multitude of color schemes but this one here is next level. The amount of hours it must’ve taken to hand engrave this bike must’ve been crazy but the end result is perfection. And I didn’t even get to the high end parts list on this bike. Huge shout out to Richard Huvard for submitting this build. This is one of his best builds yet! This IS today’s Bike Of The Day!!!

With the introduction of the Hero fork, we wanted to reintroduce a polished frame back into our repertoire. We had largely stopped offering polished frames as the only way to get the Daylight logo onto a polished frame was a decal. We thought about laser etching but a frame simply wouldn’t fit on the machine, not to mention that lasers don’t work well on reflective or polished surfaces. But then one of our painters showed us his paint that had been custom hand engraved and we knew immediately we had to try it for no other reason than because we could and we’re Daylight. We were a little concerned about removing material from the tubing but our frames are already overbuilt. We consulted with our product designers and also had built Alise Willoughby Olympic frames with even thinner walled tubing which was obviously well tested.
