FARRST continues to build up their catalog of BMX products with their new Supa-X Stem! This is a purpose-designed Oversize 31.8 stem for lowering your front-end to ensure maximum power and efficiency out the gate. It’s perfect for pro riders who resort to flipping conventional stems and have to add headset spacers below the stem to ensure clearance and correct fit with today’s frames.
Apart from clearance issues, the upside-down fitment of the stem results in the clamp bolts being underneath the stem which can lead to other problems. Problems like difficult assembly or incorrect assembly with reduced clamping force etc. It’s not fun having to tighten your stem with the bolts upside down.
Our new SUPA-X V2 stem has been sculpted and shaped to clear today’s oversize carbon headtubes and allow for a lower front-end whilst still offering the benefit of Oversize 31.8 handlebars. By offering a -5mm drop ( measured from center of steerer tube to center of handlebar ) this allows for an average of 20mm overall drop in cockpit height. With a massive 55mm overall width we also ensure maximum stiffness for efficiency and stiffness when you need it most. ~FARRST
